Here are the NYC apartments for sale with the deepest price chops in February
Fewer Manhattan sellers cut their listing prices last month compared to January, according to RealtyHop's monthly report.
The list of neighborhoods that saw the most cuts were all in Manhattan, as in previous months—but had a range of 88 to 160 price drops, down from 101 to 160 in January. The Upper East Side-Carnegie Hill remained the neighborhood with the most price cuts with 160, the same amount as January. Turtle Bay-East Midtown saw the second most cuts with 137 drops, up from 115 previously.
In its monthly price drop report, RealtyHop identifies neighborhoods with the highest total number of price cuts. It also highlights areas with the biggest percentage drop in median price, and the biggest median dollar price drop.
The listing with the biggest dollar price drop was a Upper East Side townhouse with a $8,000,000 drop to $44,000,000. A one-bedroom co-op in Crown Heights saw the largest percentage price drop with a 57 percent cut to $150,000.
