The perfect West Village studio for ringing in the spring
What's a good way to make a small space feel bigger? Supplement said small space with nearly 200 square feet of outdoor space. This $2,995 studio on the northern tip of the West Village (14th Street between Seventh and Eighth to be exact), has a secluded patio with brownstone and treetop views.
But don't get us wrong, there are also some pretty desirable features inside the apartment, including a separate kitchen (with a dishwasher), an entry hallway that's lined with closets, and a recently renovated marble bathroom.

The apartment's located on the second floor of a 15-story condo building at 222 West 14th Street, on the border of the West Village, Chelsea, and the Flatiron District.
Since the apartment's a condo, you'll likely be renting from an individual owner (who might take better care of his/her investment than your average rental landlord). And since it's a condo, there are likely no co-op-style restrictions on the amount of time you can rent.
The building has a gym, a full-time doorman and is pet friendly. Just note that 14th Street is a busy thoroughfare and noise could be an issue. That said, a private, back-facing terrace may help negate some of that din.
