5 uptown studios for rent under $2,400 with no broker fee
If you’re looking for a deal on a New York City rental apartment, a studio might be your best bet. Demand for studios fell during the pandemic as renters took advantage of the city’s lower rents to trade up to larger apartments.
There’s been a recent uptick in NYC lease signings, however rents have not recovered to pre-pandemic levels and studios have been the slowest to rebound. In Manhattan, the current median rent for Manhattan studios is $2,396, a 4.2 percent decline from July 2020, according to the Elliman Report.
You’ll find a lot to choose from at that price point. Currently there are 784 studios on the market for less than $2,400 on StreetEasy, many of them on the Upper East and Upper West Side.
To help with your apartment hunt, Brick found these five studios for $2,400 or less in those areas.
