This week, readers checked out Brick Underground to read about how prices for renovated apartments in New York City may surpass pre-Covid levels. Fully upgraded apartments are in higher demand now because the renovation process takes longer and costs more as a result of the pandemic.
Also of interest: A tenant watchdog group filed a federal lawsuit against NYC landlords and broker firms for discriminating against renters who use Section 8 vouchers. Agents were caught hanging up the phone on investigators posing as renters asking about voucher acceptance.
