This week, readers were interested in a report from PropertyShark that looks at the impact of flood zones on sales prices. After all, with a seventh, consecutive rainy weekend forecasted for New York City, flooding is constant worry for many.
The report found that sales in NYC flood zones saw smaller price increases historically than those outside of flood zones, but neighborhoods like Brooklyn’s Red Hook bucked the trend.
