Buildings prepare for Local Law 97, manifesting a dream apartment, & more
This week readers visited Brick Underground to check out how New York City co-op and condo buildings are preparing for Local Law 97, which is aimed at reducing harmful energy emissions. Starting in 2024, buildings will face steep fees if they are not in compliance and many will face a "reckoning," according to the latest episode of the "Talking Manhattan" podcast.
Also of interest: Anna Tallarini was outbid six times in a row so she meditated in the lobby of the condo building where she wanted to buy—and it worked. She now lives in a Greenwich Village full-service building.
