A UN plaza apartment where even the bathroom has a million-dollar view
We're all about NYC neighbors this week, and you can bet you'll likely have boldfaced names—or something close—living next door to this posh, high-end rental at 50 United Nations Plaza, whose architect boasts a royal pedigree himself, Lord Norman Foster.
Marquee neighbors aside, the big draw here is undoubtedly the apartment's preponderance of wraparound, floor-to-ceiling windows with eye-popping views of the city:

The vista from the master bedroom isn't too shabby either, but what really caught our eye was the sleek master bathroom, with a tub that gazes out over the NYC skyline. (As we've written before, nothing will ever be more opulent than having insane views even in the bathroom.)

As with a lot of ultra-luxury rentals seemingly designed as pied-a-terres , the kitchen is relatively small compared with the rest of the spread, but has state-of-the-art appliances and, yes, lots of windows:

The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath turnkey rental is asking $27,000/month (with the option to rent furnished), and amenities include a 24-hour doorman, "private porte-cochere" (e.g. entrance for your car), concierge, private storage, and parking on-site.
Also, while it might not seem like such a big thrill to someone with nearly $30,000/month to spend on a rental, can we have a moment for the apartment's laundry room?
As always, it's easy to fall in love with pictures, so do your due diligence. But all things considered, and although a rumor that Queen Elizabeth is its next-door neighbor was ultimately debunked, this is the stuff apartment dreams are made of.
