Multiply your kitchen counter space with this one gizmo

Multiply your kitchen counter space with this one gizmo
Like most New Yorkers, we often use up every inch of our kitchen countertops, so a Kickstarter campaign for the "Front-of-Sink" Cutting Board caught our eye.
The idea is simple: It's a cutting board that locks into the counterspace in front of your sink, saving room. Because the cutting platform is inclined toward the sink, excess liquid from wet and juicy foods drips into the drain, and you can easily sweep food onto a plate or into a pot.
Canadian inventor Yeng Way dreamed up the idea after noticing that his cutting board, placed next to the sink, would slip around, and that the foods he was cutting would create a countertop mess.
Here are some other cool features:
  • Stand-up position for quick drying
  • Non-skid pads on the bottom so that the board stays stable
  • Ergonomically correct design
  • A 15 3/4 inchby 9 inch cutting surface
You can get one with a pledge of just over $30 US, plus shipping. With 30 days to go, there's still about $8,800 to go to reach the $10,000 goal.
