Those electric cords snaking along your baseboards are taking up space, trapping cobwebs of dust and generally making it impossible to unplug the right things, should the need ever arise. But the CableCube wants to solve all those problems with a box-like contraption that stores and organizes your cords. As the tagline says, “rescue yourself from cable hell.”
With number-shaped holes on every side, the CableCube lets you thread a cord from machine to cube to outlet, while keeping track of what’s plugged into what and hiding extra loops of cable in the box itself.

London-based creator Martin Baker launched a Kickstarter campaign yesterday to raise £5,000 (about $7,700) to put the CableCube into production.
The product will be available in plain plywood (for buyers who want to paint it to match their own decor) or in Plexiglass in black, white, green, brown, orange, blue, purple or clear. It comes in two sizes: one about eight inches square and one about half as big. With a pledge of £20 (about $31 dollars), you can get the small version in plywood; contribution levels go up from there. The campaign has 28 days to go.
