Get the 'cozy but masculine' look of this luxury rental at Level in Williamsburg
When perusing New York City real estate listings, you'll see a lot of beautiful and high-priced apartments, decorated (naturally) with beautiful and high-priced furnishings. While you may not be able to afford that multi-million dollar condo, or everything in it, it is possible to steal a bit of that high style with the purchase of one chic, on-trend piece. That's where our new feature, "Shop This Space" comes in. We'll highlight a pleasingly-appointed room in an apartment that would bust most New Yorkers' budget, and find out how much the individual items are, and where you can get them. That panoramic skyline view? Yeah, we can't help you with that.
First up: a bedroom in Williamsburg's Level, where the least expensive one bedroom rents for $3,259. Highlyann Krasnow, founder and creative director of The Design High, created the interior design of the model apartments, and had this to say about them: "We wanted to achieve a cozy, high-end, somewhat masculine apartment. We used a lot of blacks, navy and metals."
Here's what she used and where you can get it:

A line drawing to show your edginess, $199

This comes in a variety of sizes and frames; an 8" by 10" costs an affordable $39.

An understated mid-century style chair, $699

Karola lounge chair, France & Son

Available in a variety of finishes; this one is polished nickel.

A chunky console to store your treasures, $2,299

Those are unfinished Peroba wood drawers in a frame of dark-stained acacia wood.
