You can rely on director Nancy Meyers to deliver on two counts with her movies: first, as portraits of women struggling to remain independent and true to themselves (usually in romance and work), and, second, fodder for aspirational real estate porn. (See: Diane Keaton's sumptuous Hamptons house, which sold for $41 million last year, and her romantic counterpart Jack Nicholson's Manhattan townhouse in Something's Gotta Give.)
In fact, her aesthetic is so specific—and coveted—it's continually picked to grace design-centric Pinterest boards. So it makes sense that she's teaming up with home decor purveyor One Kings Lane to sell furniture and other props used in the sets of her upcoming feature, The Intern.
Featuring Anne Hathaway as the inexperienced NYC-based CEO of a fledgling-but-successful fashion site who's still trying to find out what kind of leader she is, and how to become it (aided by Robert De Niro as the titular, unlikely intern), the movie's trailer promises more of Meyers' signature dreamy interiors.
