With a little TLC, this Classic 7 in Brooklyn Heights could be truly amazing
Sure, a Classic 6 in Brooklyn Heights sounds rather dreamy, but you know what's even better? A Classic 7.
This $1.950 million co-op on Monroe Place is seriously spacious, with four bedrooms (one of which is a small maid's room), two-and-a-half baths and a dining room. There's even a gallery. We're not quite sure we have enough art to fill a gallery space, but we're up for the challenge.
The large living room has beamed ceilings and a fireplace that will be oh-so-cozy come wintertime.

According to the listing, the apartment is around 1,800 square feet, but the description also points out that the it "will need updates." That fact explains the price, which is nearly $1 million less than the neighborhood median. But even with the work you may have to do, we're thinking it's still a great deal.

The building has a common roof deck with a harbor view, basement storage, a common laundry room and two elevators. It's also just a few minutes from the 2 and 3 train lines at Clark Street, as well as the R, 2, 3, 4 and 5 at Borough Hall.
