This prewar in St. Albans, Queens looks like a pretty nice flip, for $675,000
Want space? Here's a detached, four-bedroom, two-bath house with a front yard, driveway, and garage listed for under $700,000. Located in St. Albans, Queens, 120-08 196th St. was built in 1945 and is listed for $675,000.
Even though it appears that it was just sold in December for $335,000 and treated to a significant renovation, many of its period details remain. The home has stained glass windows, arched doorways, built-ins, and hardwood floors. A section of the slate roof on the facade however, looks to have been replaced by incongruous white siding. (It's likely there's a good reason for this—one that a new owner probably wouldn't have wanted to deal with.)
