Midtown Manhattan--the land of skyscrapers, corporate offices, and tons of transportation options--is the home to three apartments on this week's Hot Dozen, the 12 rental apartments Streeteasy.com visitors clicked on most often over the past seven days.
A studio apartment at 314 East 41st Street and Second Avenue is listed at $1,600/month and has no broker fee. The building has a 24-hour doorman and live-in super and is located a short walk from Grand Central, with quick access to almost any and every subway line.
A two-bedroom apartment at 953 Second Avenue and East 50th Street is listed at $3,000/month with no broker's fee. The apartment has a new marble bathroom and its own washer and dryer. Central air conditioning will also make this an even sweeter deal once NYC's unbearable heat and humidity strikes in 3, 2, 1....
A studio apartment at 343 West 46th Street and Ninth Avenue is listed at $975, and like the other apartments featured, is no fee. The apartment, however, is a glorified dormroom, although utilitites are included (which can get pricey in the summer) and the lofted bed adds more space. It may be a value by Manhattan standards, but does any adult really want to live this way? (We guess its presence on this list says "yes" or at least "maybe.")

If the apartment you like requires a guarantor that you don't have, see if the landlord accepts Insurent, a great solution from one of BrickUnderground's sponsors. New to NYC? Check out our crash course in finding an apartment here.
