In a city where there are so many foodies, it's surprising how hard it can be to find a usable kitchen. But three of the apartment on this week's Hot Dozen--the 12 rental apartments Streeteasy.com visitors clicked on most often over the past seven days--boast kitchens that have been newly renovated and are well-suited for some actual cooking... even if they're small.
A three-bedroom apartment at 150 West 84th Street and Amsterdam Avenue is listed at $3,715/month with no broker's fee. The gut-renovated railroad-style apartment has marble countertops and high-end appliances with a dishwasher that saves after-meal clean up time. The listing broker can't seem to decide whether it's a two or three-bedroom, though.
This $3,500 two-bedroom at 202 East 21st Street is a bit more cramped, featuring about, oh, 24" of counterspace, but the tags seem to still be on the new appliances. That counts for something, right? The building has an elevator and the apartment a washer-dryer, too.
A three-bedroom apartment at 336 East 19th Street and 1st Avenue listed at $4,600/month has two full bathrooms and what looks like a decent kitchen once it--like everything else in this apartment, judging by the photos--gets a thorough declutter and cleaning.
