The Open House Scorecard: Mom wasn't the only hot ticket this weekend
Whether you like to gaze out over peaceful gardens, green parks or the city skyline, there’s a view for you in this week’s Open House Scorecard--the 10 open houses those browsing StreetEasy this weekend saved to their open-house planners more often than any others this weekend.
An $800k two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo on Fifth Avenue and 13th Street in Park Slope offers skyline views of the city from Wall Street to the Empire State Building from a wall of windows in the living room (pictured at left), as well as harbor views from the private balcony. The kitchen has a south-facing picture window and top-of-the-line appliances. The building itself also offers a roof deck with panoramic views, a landscaped interior garden, a fitness room, and a community room. Plus, Energy-Star appliances help save on operating costs, and a 412a tax abatement in is place until 2034.
Also in Park Slope, on President Street between Prospect Park West and Eighth Avenue, a $479k one-bedroom, one-bath co-op offers views of a backyard garden. The apartment has been renovated, but still features prewar details such as high ceilings, exposed brick and wood floors. It’s also got California Closets and recessed lighting.
Look out at Prospect Park from a two-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex condo on the market $549k on Prospect Park Southwest between 16th Street and Windsor Place in Windsor Terrace. Vaulted ceilings and exposed brick make the apartment feel airy and give it character. The master bedroom loft has an en-suite bathroom, and the lake is also nearby. Pets are allowed in this building, which also features a gym and is zoned for PS 154 school zone.
