It was a Brooklyn weekend again.
Homes in the city's most populous borough—from Brooklyn Heights to Prospect Heights—dominated the latest Open House Scorecard, which ranks the ten open houses most frequently saved on StreetEasy this past weekend.
Brooklyn prices on this weekend's Scorecard ranged from $599k for both a two-bedroom Clinton Hill condo and a two-bedroom Prospect Heights co-op, to $995k for the two-bedroom Park Slope condo pictured at left.
The $995k Park Slope condo, at 27 Saint John's Place, has two bedrooms plus a guest suite and two bathrooms, ductless a/c system, washer/dryer, balcony--and incredibly low carrying costs of around $300/month.
Drawing attention over in Clinton Hill was a $599k two-bedroom condo, located in a row of brick townhouses. Renovated in 2007, the apartment features an open living/dining area, built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a wood-burning fireplace and a series of arched windows that bring in a good dose of sunshine.
A $599k Prospect Heights two-bedroom co-op has a renovated kitchen and bathroom, but maintains a distinct pre-war appearance. In addition to a separate dining area, the apartment has small countered window between the living room and kitchen that can be used as a breakfast bar. Be prepared for lots of window bars, too, however, as the co-op is on the first floor.
An $840k two-bedroom, two-bath Boerum Hill condo is also in the mix, offering a private balcony, rooftop access, custom closets and central air. Pets are welcome here too.
