Kudos to broker-blogger-ex-equities-trader Noah Rosenblatt on launching a new search platform for real-estate obsessed New Yorkers. The new UrbanDigs.com will provide active Manhattan inventory, pending sales and de-listing trends for free. For $20 a month, subscribers can track market shifts by neighborhood and price in real time, create trend charts and compare notes with other data hounds. UrbanDigs will also start issuing market reports that rely on its carefully monitored numbers. The monthly $20 subscription fee covers access to the search capabilities, but the minimum subscription period is one month. A small price to pay, wethinks, for so much information and market transparency...and a great holiday gift this year for your favorite real estate quant?
