Apply now for Bronx rentals starting at $801 a month
Applications opened today for two different affordable housing developments in the Bronx, according to NYC Housing Connect, the city's search portal—one at the Park West Apartments in Parkchester and another at the Mother Arnetta Crawford Apartments in Crotona Park East.
At Park West—part of the Stuy Town-esque planned community in Parkchester—studios will rent for $801 a month for a single person earning between $29,143 and $35,280. One-bedrooms will go for $861 for a single person earning between $31,235 and $35,280 or a couple earning between $31,235 and $40,320. There are two-bedrooms available at $1,042 a month for families of up to four and $1,196-a-month three-bedrooms for families of up to six, with a maximum income of $58,440. Applications are due by January 20th.
Prices and income limits are the same at the Mother Arnetta Crawford building, though there aren't any studios, and applications must be in by January 21st.
For both buildings, preference for 50 percent of the affordable apartments will be given to current Bronx residents.
