A two-bedroom Brooklyn condo for the 99 percent

A two-bedroom Brooklyn condo for the 99 percent
We love to peruse multi-million dollar, all-glass apartments as much as the next guy, but we also appreciate condos that aren't designed just for the one-percent. And this two-bedroom one-and-a-half bath feels like something of a steal at $779,000 (monthlies are less than $500, not including mortgage payments).
Windsor Terrace may not be the trendiest neighborhood, but it's near Prospect Park (this building, at 281 Windsor Place, is a block away) and has good public schools.
The duplex apartment (bonus points for non-spiral stairs!), has double-height ceilings in the living room, and an open, renovated kitchen on the first floor. Each floor has a bedroom, with a skylight in the master bedroom upstairs (see below).

The upper level—which we imagine parents might take for their own—has a bedroom half-bathroom, two closets and a storage space.

The building, built in 1994, is a walk-up, but there's storage available for free (for bikes and strollers, the listing says). The F and G trains are just a block away.
