A three-room Carnegie Hill studio that'll impress book-lovers
This $575,000 studio is in a classic Carnegie Hill doorman co-op. The building is from the late 1930s, but the apartment looks to have been renovated recently. Technically, it's got three rooms, including a living/dining area and a small office space (with no windows). There's also a separate kitchen complete with a dishwasher, a must in our book.
But the real showstopper: Built-in bookshelves (we're suckers for them!). We'd imagine it's these details, and the fact that there's an extra room, that explain why the apartment is about $200,000 more that the median price for a studio in the neighborhood.
Take a closer look at those built-in bookshelves -- with plenty of room for even voracious readers. Plus, the matching radiator covers are a nice touch.

The kitchen has white appliances rather than stainless steel ones, but those can always be replaced. Plus. it's generous for one person and has just about everything you'd need.

According to the floorplan there are three closets, including one walk-in.
Note, there is an assessment of $416.07 per month through March 31, 2016 to pay for the building's new hybrid boiler. The 13-story building at 152 East 94th Street, between Lexington and Third has a doorman, elevator, bike room, and laundry and storage facilities.
