If, however, you’re willing to make do with a standalone wardrobe, then this apartment should be on your radar. The $525,000 apartment is located at the back of a five-story, co-op building overlooking a garden, meaning that will be relatively quieter. But the apartment appears to be on the ground floor, which is likely why the shades are down in the photos, so you need to consider if that's a deal breaker as well. The kitchen and bathroom were recently renovated.

The living/sleeping space is narrow but nice, with nine-foot ceilings (which hit 11 feet at some points), wood flooring, exposed brick walls, and a decorative fireplace that adds old-school charm.
