New Yorkers are hungrier than ever for apartments with outdoor space. If you’re looking to buy a condo now, there are lots of choices in amenity-laden buildings where you can enjoy the warm weather without even leaving your building.
Condo buildings with large roof decks and courtyards are one option. And if you want to live somewhere that kicks it up a notch during the summer, luxury buildings in Brooklyn and Manhattan have rooftop pools, cabanas, and even dog runs. Some of these tricked out spaces host movie screenings, game nights, and yoga sessions.
Keep in mind that the more lavish the amenities, the higher your monthly common charges are likely to be, but it can pay off if you’re going to take advantage of them. And you can find some buildings offering to pay these fees for at least a year as a concession.
