Hoping to live right near the epicenter of Bedford Ave. on the cheap? Applications opened today for 19 subsidized rentals at 223 North 8th Street, per a listing on NYC Housing Connect.

Here's how apartment availabilities (and income requirements) break down in the building, which is just a few doors down from the Brookyn Winery between Roebling and Driggs: There are six $833/month studios for single applicants with annual incomes between $29,932 and $36,300; 10 one-bedrooms for $895/month for either a single applicant earning between $32,092 and $36,300 or a couple with a household income between $32,092 and $41,460; and three $1,082/month two-bedrooms available to couples with household incomes between $38,538 and $41,460; a family of three with an income between $38,538 and $46,620; or a family of four with an income between $38,538 and $51,780.

While there don't appear to be any photos of the actual apartments online just yet, building amenities include a credit card-operated laundry room, according to the listing, as well as a gym and a "rooftop garden/outside area" for no additional fees.

This appears to be a fairly standard 80/20 building—there are 75 units total—and per usual, 5 percent of the apartments will be reserved for mobility-impaired applicants; two percent for visual or hearing impaired applicants; and 50 percent for current residents of the neighborhood, in this case, Williamsburg and Greenpoint's Community Board 1.

Applications are due October 9th.
