38 discounted apartments are available in a new building in Williamsburg through the city's housing lottery.
The units are studios and one and two bedrooms at 105 South Fifth St., an 11-story, below-market building with ground-floor retail. They are set aside for households of 1-4 people making $31,543-$62,580 a year, with rents beginning at $865 a month, for a studio.

The building is at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge, five blocks from the Marcy Avenue J, M, Z station, and 12 blocks from the Bedford Avenue L station. It is described as having a rec room, a laundry room, indoor bike parking, a terrace, a yard, and for an additional fee, parking.
