There are 58 discounted apartments available in a new apartment building in St. Albans, Queens, through the city housing lottery.

The apartments are one and two bedrooms set aside for households making $21,600-$83,440 a year. The rents start at $558 a month for a one bedroom and go to $1,511 for a two bedroom. The units are located at 118-35 Farmers Blvd., and the income requirements range from 40 percent to 80 percent of the area median income. There are an additional eight units set aside for formerly homeless families and one for the super.

The building has a resident super, security cameras, a community room, an outdoor recreation space, a parking lot, two elevators, card-operated laundry rooms and bicycle storage. Additional fees apply for parking and bike storage. The building is smoke-free.

Nearby transit includes the Q3, Q4, and Q84 buses. There's also access to the Long Island Rail Road Babylon branch at the St. Albans station, which is less than a half mile away.
